4 hurt as Tata Sumo rolls down

POONCH, Nov 3: Four persons were injured when a Tata Sumo vehicle was rolled down near a bridge on a narrow road in Keri Galuta area of Mendhar in district Poonch today.
The police said that mishap took place when the ill-fated vehicle No. JK02AJ/ 8995 was on way to Mendhar from Keri Galuta in BG area. The approach road of the bridge has been damaged due to floods during past 3-4 months. It has turned narrow. The vehicle rolled down on this narrow patch, causing injuries to the four persons onboard.
They were rescued by the locals of the area. The police party also reached the spot. The injured were shifted to Primary Health Centre Harni. They were identified as Saqia Kouser-18, hailing from village Kangra in Mendhar, Hassina Parvez -15, Aurangzeb Khan-8 and Shabana Kouser -15, all residents of Kandi village. The driver escaped from the spot.
BMO Mendhar, Dr Parvez Ahmed Khan said that all the injured were out of danger and their condition was stable. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
