JAMMU, Oct 12: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) today said that to constitute an apex body of KP community is need of the hour to jointly deal with sensitive issues of the Community and not allow anyone to play with their rights and sentiments.
Addressing a meeting of KPC, its president Kundan Kashmiri, stated that since Kashmiri Pandit (KP) community is ignored and isolated by the politicians and nobody give heed to their problems, and therefore, to constitute an apex body of KP community is need of the hour.
He stated that the Community and its organizations are disunited and politicians are not serious towards their grievances and hence the resource victim KP community is suffering badly in exile. Kundan urged the community and community organizations and activists to leave the contradictions and work together for the overall interest of the community.
Kundan impressed upon the community and its leaders & activists that it is time when they all must understand that all political and non–political organizations, separatists, so–called secularists and Governments are united to hamper their interests and damage their 33 years long struggle for their permanent rehabilitation and to get their other problems and demands solved.
He said whole KP community is optimistic to make platform of unity with uniformity and transparency to launch an effective struggle for the common objective of the community and fight with those who challenge their co-existence, safety, security and ignore their constitutional rights.
