SRINAGAR, Sept 19: Government today promoted four Section Officers of J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service as Under Secretaries in the J&K Secretariat (Gazetted) Service-I with immediate effect.
The promotees are Gurdeep Kour (Forest Department), Firdous Hussain (Revenue Department), Manzoor Ahmad (PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Department) and Bashir Ahmad Kumar (Home Department).
Consequent upon promotions, Government ordered their transfers and postings with immediate effect.
Gurdeep Kour has been posted as Under Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department against an available vacancy. Firdous Hussain has been posted as Administrative Officer, Power Development Corporation on ex-cadre basis.
Manzoor Ahmad has been posted as Under Secretary, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department and Bashir Ahmad Kumar has been posted as Under Secretary, Finance Department against available vacancy.
