JAMMU, Dec 3: Four persons of a family were injured during the intervening night of yesterday and today when an Innova car hit a stationary truck in Jourian area of city outskirts.
The mishap occurred at about 1 AM today when five members of a family were returning to their home at Talab Tillo from Khour after attending a marriage party, in their personal Innova car. As per the reports, the car hit the stationary truck from the rear side.
In the mishap, driver of the car escaped unhurt while four persons of a family travelling in the car were injured. They were identified as Seema Devi (28) wife of Pardeep Kumar of Talab Tillo, her two daughters namely Jeevika (13) and Chahat (5) and 10-year-old son Adarsh.
All the injured persons were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for medical treatment while Akhnoor Police had taken cognizance of the matter.
