Four injured in road accidents

JAMMU, Mar 22: Four persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a bus bearing registration number JK21-3232 this afternoon hit a Santro car and a scooty bearing registration numbers JK02BB-2185 and JK02BF-2215, respectively when the brakes of the bus got failed.
In the mishap, scooty rider identified as Raman Choudhary (26) son of Kapoor Choudhary, a resident of RS Pura, received minor injuries. He was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
At Gangyal, a bike hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Girdhari Lal (58) son of Chuni Lal, a resident of Gangyal, this morning. Similarly, a pedestrian was also hit and injured at Marble Market in Greater Kailash area of city outskirts. The injured identified was identified as Tushar (30), a resident of Nanak Nagar, was taken to GMCH for treatment. Both the injured were shifted to GMCH for treatment.
A man also received serious injuries when a car hit a bike this evening here at Maheshpura. The injured person identified as Rakesh Bhalla (40) son of Omesh Bhalla, a resident of Gandhi Nagar, was shifted to hospital for treatment.
In all four cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
