JAMMU, Aug 25: Four persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a man was injured this morning when the bike he was riding on was hit by an unknown vehicle at Byepass Nagrota. The injured man has been identified as Sanjay Kumar (45) son of Shanku Lal (45), a resident of Jullaka Mohalla, Jammu.
A pedestrian identified as Ravi (39) son of Krishan Lal, a resident of Sarwal was also injured when he was hit by an unknown vehicle at Kaluchak area falling under the limits of police station Gangyal.
A 26-year-old youth suffered injuries when the bike he was travelling on, was hit by an Alto car near Sua No 1 falling under the jurisdiction of police station Gharota. The injured youth has been identified as Rohit son of Rattan Lal Sharma, a resident of Domana.
A 3-year-old girl identified as Ishika, daughter of Balwinder, a resident of Bari-Brahmana was also injured after a car hit her while she was crossing a road at Bari-Brahmana.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
