JAMMU, Apr 5: Belicharana police arrested four gamblers along with Rs 1,250 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Belicharana police post nabbed four gamblers along with Rs 1,250 stake money and playing cards.
The accused have been identified as Pavittar Singh, son of Kalyan Singh, Sayaf Khan, son of Abdul Gani, Rajesh Sharma, son of Janak Raj and Vicky Kumar, son of Som Raj, all residents of Belicharana.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Belicharana police post and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge police post Belicharana Vikram Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Satwari Inspector Kulbir Choudhary, SDPO Gandhi Nagar DySP Harjeet Singh and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
