RAMBAN, Nov 1: The four day bike rally with 48 bikers from across the India organised by Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department concluded at Patnitop here today.
This bike rally was started from Jammu on 29 October and after crossing from various places of Chenab valley ended at Patnitop.

The main aim of this bike rally was to promote adventure tourism and sports in Chenab region. The 48 participants including 3 female bikers from across the country embarked on a motorcycle rally from Jammu and after crossing through Bani, Basholi, Bhaderwah, Doda, Kishtwar, Sinthan Top finally reached Patnitop.
These bikers from different parts of the country act as a tool to promote unexplored adventure tourism destinations of Jammu region.
Director Tourism Jammu Om Parkas Bhagat, Joint Director Jammu Showkat Malik, Deputy Director Adventures S K Attri, CEO PDA Rajinder Singh and Tourist Officer Batote Zaheer Ud Din Naik, Assistant Tourist Officer Dr Parikshit Sharma besides adventure instructures Amar Pal and Rakesh Koul were present during the programme.
“One of the female participant Preeti Choudhary from Bikers Brotherhood Motorcycle Club said that females participation should be increased to make ration equal because the females are equal population in India so they should also come forward to visit these untouched beauties of Jammu region like boys do always during their vacation.
She appealed to bikers and adventure lover tourists to come and enjoy the beautiful places of Jammu division and Jammu Tourism has established infrastructure and facilities at all the tourist destinations.
Later, a colourful cultural programme was also organised by tourism department for the bikers besides felicitation function was also organised by the department in which they facilitate the participants.
