JAMMU: State Health Minister Bali Bhagat today laid the foundation stone for cancer care centre in Jammu’s Kishtwar district.
The centre is one of the three cancer care centres sanctioned by the Central Government for the State.
The other two centres are in Handwara in North Kashmir and Udhampur district in Jammu.
“This centre will help people of the entire erstwhile Doda district. This would be the first institute in the region that will provide specialised health care services for cancer patients,” the minister said. (AGENCIES)
