UDHAMPUR, July 3: Monthly meeting of All J&K ReT Teachers’ Forum was held, here today under the chairmanship of State president Vinod Sharma and District president Lekh Raj Parihar. The meeting was attended by a large number of delegates from all the 11 zones of the District Udhampur.
While speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sharma expressed strong resentment against the callous approach of the Education Department to resolve their issues like streamlining of SSA salary which is still pending for the last 4 to 5 months and   regularization of ReT teachers whose files are lying in the office of Director School Education Jammu for a long time.
He also resented  the statement of  Education Minister on the floor of House that ReTs have been transferred unauthorizedly and they will be sent back to their posts. These transfers are done vide Govt  Order no  469, then how these be considered unauthorized? he asked.
Vinod Sharma  appealed the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister to personally intervene in this matter as ReT cadre has been defamed and harassed by the Education Department on the name of screening test and other issues and not to force thousands of ReT teachers of the State to come on the road.
Others,  who also spoke in the meeting, included Sukhdev Singh, Sham Sharma, Ashok Seth, Pritam Goswami, Chain Singh, Balbinder Singh, Anil Sharma, Mohd. Mustafa and  Sandeep Sharma.
