SRINAGAR, Sept 4: Mehmood-ur-Rahman, Padamshree awardee and former Vice Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, and Sanjay Nahar, President “Sarhad”, a Pune based NGO, called on Governor N.N. Vohra, , here at the Raj Bhavan today.
During their meeting, discussions were held on socio-cultural- educational exchanges of students in Kashmir and Pune and about “Sarhad’s” ongoing initiative to teach and work for the conflict affected children of J&K.
Governor and Rahman also discussed issues relating to higher education and the measures required to be taken to promote excellence in teaching and research in the State.
