Former Minister narrowly escapes after truck hits car, 2 injured

JAMMU, July 25: Former Minister and Jammu and Kashmir BJP Vice-President Sham Lal Sharma narrowly escaped after his vehicle was hit by a truck on the outskirts of Jammu city today, officials said.
The truck bearing registration number JK02CX-8871 hits the Former Minister’s car bearing registration number JK02CJ-1818 on the Akhnoor-Poonch road
While Sharma escaped unhurt, two persons namely Pardeep Singh (car driver) of Jourian and Naresh Sharma sustained minor injuries, they said.
The truck driver identified as Arun Kumar Sharma of Mandrian Tehsil Maira Mandrian has been arrested.
A case under sections 279 and 337 IPC has been registered at Police Station Akhnoor and investigation started.
