SRINAGAR, Sept 6: The former legislator and National Conference leader Mohammad Syed Akhoon on Thursday afternoon called on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and discussed with him various matters pertaining to the development of Hazratbal area.
Akhoon highlighted the issues pertaining to the Hadoora water supply scheme, slaughter house at Wanihama, Naseem bagh-Buchpora road, development of Shanpora, Handom Mohalla and Meerak-Shah colony.
He also brought to the notice of Chief Minister the need for upgradation of basic amenities in Mir-Behri area of Dal lake, upgradation of girls’ high school and PHC Hazratbal.
The Chief Minister gave him patient hearing and said that the genuine demands would be given due consideration.
