MENDHAR, Mar 16: The police has arrested a youth on the charge of kidnapping and rape of minor girl.
A police spokesman said that accused identified as Nahim Mustafa, son of Abdul Rashid, resident of Ari in Mendhar is a Forest Guard. He allegedly kidnapped the minor girl, a student of Class 12th from Kottan village and took her to Jammu. He kept her in a private accommodation and committed rape. The police party acting on specific information intercepted a vehicle near BG today and recovered the girl. The accused was also nabbed. The girl after medical examination at Mendhar hospital was handed over to the family. A case FIR No 19/ 2015 has been registered against the accused.
