UDHAMPUR, July 21: In continuation to the anti-encroachment drive initiated in the Ramnagar Forest Division, the Forest Department got vacated 41 Kanals of land.
The drive was carried out by a team constituted by Divisional Forest Officer, Ramngar, Vivek Modi under the guidance of the Conservator of Forest, East Circle, Jammu. The team led by Range Officer, Ramnagar South Range, Satish Kumar along with Block Officer, Field staff of Rang Block and FPF staff visited compartment 49/S at village Rang of Ramnagar tehsil and removed the encroachment.
According to DFO, Ramnagar Forest Division, the team removed the barbed wire and brush wood fencing put up by encroacher Jeet Singh Mohra Malti, Village Rang of tehsil Ramnagar.
