SRINAGAR, May 19: Minister of State (MoS) for Revenue and PWD (R&B), Sunil Sharma, announced that the foot-bridge will soon be sanctioned for Wyethpora by the State Government.
He announced this while addressing a public rally at Village Wyethpora in Sonwar Assembly Segment in Srinagar which was convened by BJP spokesperson and Party State Executive Committee representative Dr Darakhshan Andrabi.
Amidst the huge cheers and slogans of support, Sunil Sharma said that he will be always at the beck and call of the people who have invested great hopes in Bharatiya Janta Party.
He along with Member of Parliament, Shamsher Singh Manhas, was the special invitee in the rally.
Speaking on the occasion, Shamsher Singh Manhas said that BJP is bound to reach out to the people of the abandoned areas and resolve the basic issues confronting the people. He said that he was briefed by Dr Andrabi about the problems faced by the people of the area and he will soon issue orders for resolution of these issues with contribution from his MP’s Development Fund.
Earlier, Dr Andrabi assured the people of all help from the party to resolve the collective problems for a developed life in their area. She said that BJP was committed to fulfill all its promises made with the people during elections.
She said that the presence of senior BJP leaders like MP Shamsher Singh Manhas and Minister of State for Revenue and PWD(R&B), Sunil Sharma, in the rally is party’s endorsement to their commitment for development and progress of the ignored areas of Kashmir Valley.
Other BJP leaders, Dr Nissar Ahmad and Zubair Nazir Wani also attended the rally.
