JAMMU, Jan 29: Food and Allied Workers Union postponed its strike for 15 days.
In a handout issued, Bishan Dass, President of the Union intimated that the Government has now showed interest in resolving pending labour related issues and has sought 15 days time for taking decisions on the issues.
In this regard, the Union has decided that the strike will be postponed for a period of 15 days, he said, adding that in case of any deviation, the workers will be forced to intensify the agitation.
He added that CAPD workers fought for their right bravely throughout the State. He maintained that the workers had passed through odd times and they should remain united to achieve the goal.
