JAMMU, Dec 8: Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Domana Sunil Singh has asked the people to follow SOPs to contain the spread of COVID pandemic.
He asked this to the people during a meeting at Rajpora Gujjar Basti. SHO Kanachack Inspector Kunal Singh Jamwal, various inhabitants, numberdars, sarpanches and other respectable persons of the area participated in the meeting.
A threadbare discussion took place about eradication of drugs and other crime related issues. SDPO Domana Sunil Singh also briefed them to aware the people of their respective areas to maintain social distancing and wear face masks during travelling and follow COVID SOPs. Other important issues discussed were regarding illegal mining, theft cases, illicit liquor and various other important issues such as problems related to water, electricity, road, school etc. concerning civil departments.
SDPO Domana Sunil Singh flanked by SHO Kanachack Inspector Kunal Singh Jamwal gave a patient hearing to the public and assured them that their grievances would be referred to higher authorities and the issues raised would be taken up. They also encouraged the people to come forward in sharing information related to crime in their area.
