Flood threat: KU postpones all exams, govt announces holiday

 

Srinagar : Kashmir University (KU) postponed all examinations scheduled for today and tomorrow, while the government announced closure of all educational institutions in the Kashmir valley following flood threat due to heavy rain for the past three days.  

A KU spokesperson said that all examinations, which were scheduled to be held today and tomorrow, have been postponed due to prevailing flood situation.  

He said the next date will be announced later.   Divisional Commissioner Kashmir today ordered closure of all educational institutions in the valley.   (Agencies)
