Flawed list of SIs Govt’s cruel joke with people: Dr Gagan Bhagat

JAMMU, June 8: Deputy Chief Spokesperson J&K National Conference Dr Gagan Bhagat condemned the Government of J&K over alleged corruption in the selection process of Sub Inspectors in Jammu and Kashmir Police, the list for which was released recently with startling flaws.
In a statement issued to media persons, the senior NC leader said that the flawed list of SIs in JKP clearly indicates the large-scale corruption has taken place thus mocking the genuine candidates who worked hard after taking assurances of the party in power as very seriously.
He said that it is another cruel joke of government with the people of J&K as list of SIs itself speaks of rampant corruption because several siblings have been figured in the list, the thing which seldom happens and also the aggrieved aspirants are alleging that incompetent candidates have been handpicked give two hoots to merit and competence.
Dr Gagan while demanding high level probe into the matter asserted that the National Conference is standing shoulder to shoulder with the genuine aspirants and will not allow anyone to play with the future of youth of J&K. He said that the entire process is under public scanner and government cannot ignore or shelve the matter because the aforesaid list itself speaks about glaring misdeeds of those who manned this recruitment process.
“The corruption galore under BJP Government however its leadership both at UT and national level never see the same”, he said and demanded fair probe in the matter so that no genuine aspirant is left out in this selection process. He also demanded that the government should issue a white paper in this matter.
