Five Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrims injured

Katra, Aug 19: Five pilgrims of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi were injured in a road accident here today on Jammu-Katra road.
As per reports available the five Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrims were injured when a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident near Moori on Katra-Jammu road.
Immediately after the incident police and local administration came in action and shifted injured people to nearby Community Health Centre (CHC), Katra for the treatment; however one of the injured has been shifted to Government Medical College, Jammu for the improved treatment.
As per the Block Medical Officer, Katra the injured were identified as Nider Kaur (50) wife of Harjinder Singh, Parveen Kaur (25) wife of Vijay Kumar, Ram Nath (55) son of Mubarakh, Geeta Devi (40) wife of Ram Nath and Mamta Devi (25) wife of Denny, all resident of Tarn Taran, Punjab. Nider Kaur (50) wife of Harjinder Singh has been referred to Government Medical College, Jammu for the improved treatment.
