Five injured in road mishaps

SRINAGAR, Mar 29: Five persons were injured in two different road accidents in Anantnag and Kupwara districts.
A police spokesman said a paramilitary CRPF vehicle and a Swift car bearing registration number JK01N-4000 collided near Shani Petrol Pump in Sangam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, resulting in injuries to two CRPF persons, swift car driver and his wife. “All the injured have been shifted to SKIMS Soura Srinagar for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said an unknown vehicle hit a motorcycle bearing chassis number MDLJF- 328DF9K11511 at Shalpora crossing in Drugmulla area of Kupwara district, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist identified as Ghulam Rasool Mochi. “The injured has been shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
