UDHAMPUR, Aug 1: Five persons were injured in a road accident on National Highway near Toldi nallah, here today.
As per the reports a Tavera car bearing registration number JK18-4709 was on its way from Sringar to Jammu when arriving at Toldi nallah the driver lost control over the vehicle and it fell down in a 100 feet deep gorge.
The jawans of 137 CRPF arrived on the spot and shifted all the injured to the District Hospital Udhampur.
The injured have been identified as Anand Mishra (65) son of Hari Chand, his wife Yashoda Devi, Dinesh Kumar son of Moti Sahu, resident of Bihar, Sudhanshu Sarkar son of Hari Parikar, a resident of Bengal and driver of the vehicle, Abdul Majid son of Ali Mohd, a resident of Qajikund Sringar.
Udhampur police has registered a case in this connection and started investigations.
