RAMBAN, Dec 27: Police today booked five persons for smoking in public places at Bus Stand Ramban and Ramsoo.
Police spokesman said that, police today caught four persons while smoking at Bus Stand, Ramban.
They were identified as Naib Chand, son of Daleep Chand of Rajgarh, Ghulam Hassan, son of Manwar Lohar of Asher Banihal, Abdullah, son of Ghulam Qadir Wani of Bankote Banihal and Fulial Singh, son of Basant Ram of Balihote Ramban, he added.
Meanwhile, Ramsoo Police also booked one person namely Mool Singh, son of Lal Maan of Sujmatna Ramban, for smoking in public place.
All were booked under Section 4/21 COTPA and were produced in the Court of Law where they were fined Rs 200 each.
