Srinagar, Apr 19: A comprehensive awareness and demonstration program was organized today by the Fire & Emergency Station SKIMS Soura at Maternity Hospital Soura.
The event was held in commemoration of Fire Service Week 2024 and under the guidance of Alok Kumar ADGP and Director Fire & Emergency Service J&K,
The event featured a lecture and demonstration session delivered by Sameer Ul Hamid LFM-1288, along with other officials from the Fire & Emergency Station.
Attendees included a large number of people from various backgrounds, including doctors, security personnel, and para-medical staff members of the hospital.
Authorities said that the program aimed to educate and inform participants about fire safety measures and protocols, equipping them with essential knowledge to respond effectively in case of fire emergencies.
“Through interactive sessions and practical demonstrations, attendees learned about fire prevention techniques, evacuation procedures, and the proper use of firefighting equipment,” officials said.
