Srinagar, Nov 30:A devastating fire today engulfed the vegetable market in Kupwara district. The incident, which unfolded in the wee hours today, resulted in the gutting of approximately 10 vegetable carts, causing a significant setback to the local community. “The cause of the fire is still unknown and is currently under investigation by the authorities,” an official said.

He added that firefighters, assisted by police and locals, managed to extinguish the fire after working tirelessly to contain it and prevent its further spread. “Despite their efforts, the damage has already occurred, and officials are assessing the extent of the loss,” he said. Fortunately, he added that there were no injuries or loss of life in the incident.
