SAMBA, May 10: Fire broke out in a shop at sector Ramgarh in district Samba today.
According to the report, the fire broke out in a godown of the shop in Ramgarh when the owner of the shop was repairing the door of the godown with a welding set and suddenly the fire broke out from his godown.
When local people saw the smoke coming out from the shop, they immediately went to spot and tried to douse the fire but the fire did not control. After receipt the information SHO Ramgarh, Chaman Gorkha along with his team reached to the spot. He also informed to fire tender after that fire brigade team reached to the spot and controlled fire. As per reports goods about Rs one lakh perished in the fire.
In this regard police has taken cognizance of the matter and started further investigation.
