SAMBA, Dec 19: Fire broke out in Jaidev Food Processing Industry at 3.35pm today at Lane Number 3, SIDCO Industrial Area opposite HP Bottling Plant here.
As per reports the fire broke out on Second Floor of the factory in a tank used to store diesel. The reasons of the fire could not be ascertained as yet but soon after the smoke came out of the factory the management informed the Fire Brigade and three fire tenders and police reached the spot to douse the blaze. They managed to control the fire from spreading further in the factory. No loss of life has been reported.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The Samba police has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law in this regard.
