JAMMU, Jan 3: Bakshi Nagar Police today registered FIR against Deputy Director and three drivers of State Motor Garages for harassing female employee of the department.
The complainant, a widow, had lodged a complaint in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jammu alleging that she was being subjected to harassment for not having extramarital relations with the Deputy Director, State Motor Garages, Zakir Hussain Choudhary.
She also accused three drivers of the department namely Vijay Pal Singh, Charanjeet Singh and Rama Kant of putting pressure on her for following the diktats of Deputy Director. The CJM referred the complaint to Sub Judge/Special Mobile Magistrate for disposal under law.
After going through the complaint, the court of Sub Judge/Special Mobile Magistrate forwarded the same to SHO Police Station Bakshi Nagar with the direction to investigate the matter under law.
Following the directions of the court, SHO Bakshi Nagar Police Station today registered FIR No. 1/2015 against all the four accused under Sections 294, 354-A, 506/509 RPC.
