MENDHAR, Mar 9: Gursai police has registered an FIR against a CAPD ration dealer who used to sell BPL ration at the APL rates and even the higher.
Reports said that on the basis of public complaints, the SDM Mendhar Ramesh Kumar asked TSO to hold an inquiry into the matter. After the TSO submitted an inquiry report, the Sub Divisional Magistrate directed SHO Gursai to register a case against the ration dealer.
The Police registered an FIR No. 27/2015 at Police Station Gursai against the ration dealer Mohd Hussain alias Munshi, resident of Fambra Nad. The accused is also village Sarpanch. There were also many complaints of black marketing of public ration against this dealer. The authorities at Mendhar have recommended the case to Director CAPD Jammu to cancel the dealership of the accused.
