MENDHAR, Sept 23: The police today registered an FIR against three persons including a relative of political leader for grabbing Govt land at Bera in Mendhar.
Official sources said that on the directions of the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Mendhar Thakur Sher Singh the police registered a case FIR No. 151/ 2016 at Mendhar Police Station against Mohd Tariq, Mohd Rafiq and Abdul Majid, hailing from Kalaban and Bera. They had allegedly encroached upon Government land under Khasra No. 555/612 at Bera in Mendhar. The police and local administration had smashed structures raised on this land few days back. The SDM directed Tehsildar to cancel Girdawari of the said land and hold inquiry fixing responsibility on Revenue officials and others for preparing fake /forged documents.
