KATHUA, Nov 26: Police lodged an FIR against Mining contractor, Abhijeet Singh and three others for attacking and looting workers of a ‘Stone Crusher’ in Ravi River, here today.
The FIR was lodged in Police Station Kathua under IPC sections- 382, 452, 323, 427, 504, 506, 120-B and Sections-3 and 25 of Arms Act, 1959 against four accused persons namely Abhijeet Singh, son of Kanwarjit Singh, Vipon Kumar, son of Singh Raj and Manorath Singh all residents of Pathankot (Punjab) and Varinder Sharma, son of Makhan Lal Sharma belong to Kathua.
According to Police, the goons entered the premises of ‘Vasudeva Stone Crushers’ at midnight and suddenly started abusing and beating the workers with wooden sticks and rods. They also broke the office of stone crushers and stolen money from the cash counter.
