JAMMU, May 6: Commissioner Secretary to Government, Finance Department, Navin Kumar Choudhary today inaugurated new premises of J&K Grameen Bank’s Swankha Morh Branch.
R K Chhibber, Chairman of Grameen Bank, General Manager Romesh Vaid, Area Managers of Jammu region, officials of the bank and customers were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Navin Choudhary applauded the role played by J&K Grameen Bank in providing various financial services to the people of the State. He also interacted with the staff members and customers of the branch.
Chairman of J&K Grameen Bank R K Chhibber informed that bank has 217 branches in J&K and the interest rates on loans and advances are lowest amongst other banks. Urging the people to take full advantage of bank’s products and services, he sought their support and cooperation in realizing the bank’s vision to take the entire population to new heights of equitable growth and prosperity.
It is pertinent to mention here that moving in trend with modern banking, the J&K Grameen Bank is offering 24*7 cashless services of mobile banking, Rupay Kissan and Debit cards and initiated process of deployment of PoS machines besides offering other services.
