SRINAGAR, June 17: FICCI J&K State Council organized a webinar on waste minimization and management through lean in association with MSME Development Institute (DI) Srinagar.
Professor Narendra Vishwarup, Director Acadamics (Fenatic Academy of Quality) Indore gave a detailed presentation on Waste Minimization and Management through lean via video conferencing,
Professor Narendra, explained the objectives, and what is waste, lean and visual management. He said that anything that adds cost to the product without adding any value to the organization is a waste. “Employees of an organization need to be treated as assets. Employees are the face of an organization who create the trust factor in the minds of the customers,” he asserted.
Saheel Alagband, Assistant Director MSME DI Srinagar said, implementation of lean techniques will increase productivity of MSME sector with less waste, but the process has to be under the guidance of a proper counselor who will bring positive changes in the working style of the sector.
Earlier, Arshad Danish, State Coordinator FICCI J&K State Council presented welcome address in which he emphasized to organize more such events in future which will benefit MSME in J&K.
