FICCI FLO JK&L launches health initiative ‘AMAANAT’

JAMMU, July 29: FICCI FLO Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh (JK&L) Chapter under the chairpersonship of Kunwarani Ritu Singh announced the launch of their health initiative ‘AMAANAT’ through online mode. FICCI FLO JK&L has taken up the cause to improve lives of 100 such families belonging to the marginalized section of society and reach out to those women whose lives have been affected by the current COVID-19 pandemic and they have lost sole earning member of their families to this pandemic.
In a handout FICCI FLO JK&L stated that they have onboard Dr. R Madaan (Gynaecology & Obstetrics), Dr. Sunil Chowdhary (Gynaecology & Obstetrics), Dr. Mohan Lal (Cardiology), Dr. A S Bhatia (Biochemistry), Dr. Abhinav Gupta (General Physician & Diabetologist), Dr. Amit Suri (Urology), Dr. Deepak Abrol ( Radiation Oncology), Dr. Zeeshan Ahmed (Opthomology), Dr. Adnan Rafiq (Gastroenterologist), Dr. Virender Singh ( Pediatrics), Dr. Tania Kakkar (Gynecology & Obstetrics), Dr. Palki Sharma (Dermatologist) and Dr. Ashmina Gour (Dental Surgeon).
It further said that the doctors have graciously agreed not only free consultancy but also procedures and long term medicines to these families in need.
“Some of our fellow members have also agreed to come on board and offered basic pathological tests free of cost,” FICCI FLO JK&L Ritu Singh said.
The webinar ended with a vote of thanks by Ritu Singh where she appealed to the members to spread this initiative across the UT, so that it can benefit large amount of people who are actually in need of medical assistance and aid.
