JAMMU, Mar 12 : A deputation of Fair Price Shop Dealers Association (FPSDA) Jammu and Kashmir, led by its president Ajay Gupta today called on National Conference additional general secretary and former minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra at party office here and brought to his attention about the long pending liabilities and various claims of FPS dealers of the Union Territory since 2019.
The deputation expressed concern over the delay in disbursement and release of Centre share, handling losses (wastage), genuine monthly commission of Mid Day Meals ration supply and any other miscellaneous charges to them despite funds having been made available during the year 2024-25.
They lamented that the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department is ignoring their genuine demands and called for looking at these at the apex level for earnest redressal.
Sadhotra assured the delegation that their concerns and demands will be taken up at the appropriate level for favourable consideration.
