KUPWARA, Mar 12: Kupwara Ball Badminton Championship organized by District Kupwara Ball Badminton Association in collaboration with J&K Ball Badminton Association under the banner of J&K Sports Council culminated, here today.
The two-day championship witnessed participation from 15 teams in both boys and girls sections.
In closing ceremony, chief guest was Irshad Ahmad Sofi, Chairman Green Land English Medium School and guests of honour were Jehangir Ahmad Sheikh, Principal of the same School, Abdul Rashid Chopen, Teacher and Jashid Hamid, Physical Education Teacher.
Association organizing secretary, Parvaiz Ahmad was also present along with several coaches and officials.
A handout stated that success in the championship was due to the dedicated efforts of Parvaiz Ahmad along with the support of Kupwara Ball Badminton Association.
