SAMBA,May 10: A female pedestrian was injured after hit by an unknown vehicle at Barian area of Samba today.
She has been identified as Raj Kumari, wife of Late Durga Dass and resident of Village Barian. The mishap took place at Jammu -Pathankot National Highway near Barian, when the unknown vehicle hit her when she was walking on the footpath adjacent to road. She received critical injuries and was brought to Accidental Hospital Vijaypur for treatment with the assistance of local people but the doctor referred her to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for specialized treatment.
Police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
