JAMMU, Sept 18: An unidentified newly born female baby was found today from some bushes in Karan Bagh area of Gadigarh in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, at about 1.30 during the intervening night of Sept 17 and 18, the baby was spotted by some passerby who informed the police about the matter.
On getting information, a police team from police post Gadigarh reached the spot and shifted the baby to Shri Maharaja Gulab Singh Hospital, Jammu, where she is under doctors’ observation.
In this connection a case under relevant Sections has been registered at police station Satwari and investigations started.
