Female Asstt Professor terminated for unauthorized absence

JAMMU, Aug 5: Higher Education Department has ordered termination of a female Assistant Professor (Psychology) for her unauthorized absence from duty and leaving the country without any permission of competent authority.
The said Assistant Professor, namely Dr Shiveta Gandotra had left the country on July 20, 2018 without prior permission from the competent authority and did not resume her duties since then despite repeated notices and reminders.
Keeping in view her continuous unauthorized absence and failure to resume duties despite sufficient notices being given to her in terms of Article 128 of J&K Civil Service Regulations 1956, the Higher Education Department finally terminated her services with effect from July 20, 2018.
