FCS&CA Deptt’s office record missing, case registered

JAMMU, Feb 6: The office record of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Department was found missing and a theft case has been registered in this regard by Gandhi Nagar Police.
As per police sources, Assistant Director (T&S) Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department Jammu lodged a complaint with Police Post Nehru Market stating that the old office record kept in Quarter Number 10 and 11 in Nehru Market has been missing and it is presumed that the same has been stolen.
“It was the significant record of the last three decade consisted of cash books, challan books, quota registers, issue and dispatch registers and other important documents pertaining to the office”, the complainant said.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 29/2022 under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started.
