SRINAGAR, Sept 17 : A deputation of Federation of Chamber of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) led by its President Zahoor Ahmad Bhat this afternoon called on Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah and discussed matters relating to the development of industries in the Valley. Issues pertaining to wood based industries also came up for discussion.
Minister for Forests, Mian Altaf Ahmad, Minister for Industries, S S Slathia, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, B B Vyas, Principal Secretary Industries, Commissioner Secretary Forests and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.
Among other things matters relating to the notifying of industrial estates, operational guidelines, regularization and review of fee structure were discussed.
