Fauji Public School celebrates 13th Annual Day

SAMBA, Feb 8: Fauji Public School Samba celebrated its 13th Annual Day with great pomp and show at Village Patti, here today.
District Development Commissioner Samba, Sheetal Nanda was the chief guest on the occasion.
The children presented an excellent cultural progrrame. A skit with the theme of ‘Beti Bachao’ was presented on the occasion. A series of dances were presented, which included ‘dandia’ from Gujrat, and ‘Bhangra’ from Punjab.
The presentations by toddlers on jungle life and’ Gayatri Mantra’ were greatly applauded.
The School Principal Mrs Anjana Sharma in her annual report and apprised that the school is run on no profit basis and provides quality education at affordable cost to the rural children of Rajinder Vihar Colony in Village Patti.
The School is run by the Jammu and Kashmir Ex Services League with Dogra Rattan Maj Gen Goverdhan Singh Jamwal, Ex MLC as its president.
Jt Chairman of the school, Col KS Jamwal, VSM and Col Dr Virendra K Sahi were the organisers.
SSP Samba, Joginder Singh and District Sports Officer, Subhash Chander Bharadwaj were also present on the occasion.
