Fast Track Recruitment criterion

Sir,
Jammu and Kashmir service selection board has given the criterion for the selection of posts which has been made available on Jkssb website under heading called Fast Track Recruitment Criterion. Now, in this criterion all weightage is to be given to academic merit which may have been obtained by candidates from institutions by all means fair/unfair inside and outside state. Such so called fast track recruitment clearly brings out the inconsistency of state government policies. Minister of school education has been making a lot of hue and cry for making written test for RETs and RRTs but he has no problem if teachers are again selected on the basis of academic merit. A lot of revenue has been generated from the unemployed educated youth as they were required to pay Rs 400 fees per form. Not only that they were asked to fill the forms separately for same post in the different item numbers and pay fee separately. Now one fails to understand that after collecting heavy fees from lakhs of unemployed youth why Jkssb has decided not to conduct the written test. Why such a thing that there will not be written test was not made clear in the advance instead it was written in the advertisement that there will be written test. Not only that in the recruitment procedure the points being allotted are unfair and unjustified . A post of sub inspector in Finance Department in which minimum eligibility as per notification was graduation but in the recruitment criterion the maximum weightage is being given to marks obtained in the class 10th. Unemployed educated youths suspect that there is some foul play.
Yours etc….
