JAMMU, Dec 8: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA), Doda Shakti Raj Parihar today slammed the National Conference (NC) leader and former Chief Minister, Farooq Abdullah for his controversial remarks showing sympathy with separatists.
Attacking NC chief, MLA, Doda said Farooq Abdullah is in desperation after losing power in the State and over the fact that Kashmir was returning to normalcy following months of unrest.
“He is speaking the language of Pakistan. He is unable to digest the return of normalcy in Kashmir. In his greed for power, he is doing this vote bank politics and can go to any extent for the lust of power,” said, Parihar. The statement of Farooq telling his party workers to lend full support to Hurriyat makes clear indication the role of NC in recent unrest in the Valley including some other parts of the State. During his tour to Chenab region, Farooq Abdullah had questioned India’s claim on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir saying PoK is not a paternal property of India to be inherited, which shows his frustration for power, Parihar added.
