JAMMU, Apr 23: Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy and National Conference president, Dr Farooq Abdullah was today discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi after eight days of hospitalization.
Dr Abdullah had been suffering from pneumonic and chest infections.
Doctors attending on the Union Minister examined his condition twice today and finally declared him fit for discharge. He left the AIIMS at 7.30 pm.
Farooq was admitted in the AIIMS last Monday after complaints of pneumonic and chest infections.
