JAMMU, Apr 15: Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti Mela Celebration Committee here organised a fair to remember Dr. B.R Ambedkar.
Socio-religious organizations like SC/ST organisations, Ambedkar Yuva Sangathan etc performed in the functions thus organised.
Sarasbharti, renowned singer was the anchor and Neeraj was co-anchor.
Singer Gurmeet Lalli was main attraction of the programme.
School students presented Bheem Vandana and Buddh Vandana.
Gojri singer, Bashir Mastana performed along with his associates.
Ladakhi students presented beautiful performance of Ladakhi culture.
The cake cutting ceremony was performed by B.R Kundal, Ex-Chief Secretary and Ashok Atri, retired DIG.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion were Sham Lal Basson, Dr. Rakesh Atri, Pawan Kundal, Dr. Vijay Shivgotra, R.D Thapa, Rani Devi Corporator, Rashpal Bhardwaj Corporator, Prof. Yudhvir Singh Corporator, Tripta Devi Corporator and others.
