UDHAMPUR, Nov 15: A worker died due to electric shock at Bala POP factory in Battal Balian, here today.
The deceased was identified as Surinder Singh (35), son of Majar Singh of Rathian in Udhampur. He was working as Electrician and he was repairing some circuit when he received severe electric shock. He was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Later the body was sent for postmortem while Police registered a case for legal formalities.
