REASI, June 22: Office of the Assistant Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Reasi has sought explanation of Tehsil Supply Officer, Reasi for not wearing a mask in public place.
Besides seeking explanation, the officer has also been directed to deposit an amount of Rs 500 in Red Cross Society account as a penalty.
The explanation was sought after a photo was received to the Assistant Director FCS&CA, Reasi through Whatsapp, in which the TSO was found without mask in public place.
“Being a public servant and front line worker during COVID-19 crisis, the safety of your’s and the public is paramount. Hence in this regard, you are directed to explain your position why you are failed to wear a mask,” reads the explanation order, a copy was which has also been forwarded to DC Reasi and Director FCS&CA.
