SRINAGAR, Feb 14: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah asked People’s Democratic Party (PDP) patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to explain his compulsion to form a coalition Government with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the State. Mr Abdullah said if (Delhi Chief Minister)Arvind Kejriwal can govern Delhi without cozying up to the BJP, why can’t the PDP patron.
“If @ArvindKejriwal can govern Delhi without cozying up to the BJP why can’t Mufti Sayeed? What’s The Mufti’s compulsion @jkpdp?” Mr Abdullah wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter. The reaction by National Conference (NC) working president came a day after reports about a possible agreement between PDP and BJP emerged.
